Some Interesting Projects

  1. Self-loading concrete mixers

    Provided strategic direction to a global concrete equipment manufacturing major by assessing the market potential for ‘self-loading concrete mixers’. This engagement provided inputs to the client with the right market approach strategy, machine pricing and value proposition. This engagement has not only helped the client enter the market but also provided key inputs which helped the client become one of the leading names in this space currently.

  2. Indian construction equipment industry

    Feedback Consulting, as knowledge partner of ICEMA and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for ‘Excon’ 2015 (South East Asia’s largest Construction Equipment exhibition), conducted a strategic engagement comprising 1000+ interviews with stakeholders representing different segments of the value chain including OEMs, dealers, suppliers, rental companies, industry associations, government agencies, experts and end-users.

    An insightful report was developed on “Indian Construction Equipment Industry – Vision 2020” that covered future prospects for the industry, government role in making the sector more stable and sustainable, and opportunity for each stakeholder. This report also helped to set out the road map for the industry till 2020. The report is well commended by the industry OEMs

  3. Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) Unit

    Provided strategic direction and inputs for a ‘go-no-go’ decision for a client who was keen to assess the feasibility of setting up a dedicated plant to address the demand in some specific regions in India by doing a detailed assessment and analyzing potential opportunities for RMC units. This helped the client take the right decision on setting up a new unit in the recommended region.

  4. Building material business

    Led an initiative to identify opportunity for a client in the Cement business to grow inorganically. The engagement involved identifying acquisition targets, Joint ventures etc. Feedback studied the market, likely acquisition/ joint venture partners and based on pre-identified filtering criteria, identified likely companies for this purpose.

  5. Equipment ancillary industry

    Led more than 10 initiatives where the client wanted to look at the Indian market for market entry, expansion of services, acquisitions, Joint ventures and identification of location for manufacturing. Some of the recent ones were into Hydraulic systems, Seat manufacturing, Tipper bodies.

  6. Engineering

    Worked with a client in the pumps business, interested in increasing their global footprint to identify new opportunities. Feedback, over the past 4 years has identified possible partners with whom the client could work in various geographies. Through this exercise, Feedback has helped the client start businesses in the following markets – India, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Philippines

  7. Elevators

    As a strategic initiative of one of the leading elevator manufacturers in India, Feedback was engaged to understand the potential for elevators across different segments within the real estate sector. About 50 cities were covered to understand the potential in each city as well as the pan India potential. The findings from this engagement helped the client re-orient their overall strategy, address the needs of various segments & geographies differently and increase sales overall.
