Vedanta Resources to invest in Konkola Copper Mines – Feedback

Vedanta Resources will make an investment of USD 700 million in its subsidiary, Konkola Copper Mines (KCM), located in Zambia.

Investment will be made to raise production level to 4,00,000 tpa in the next few years. KCM will build a new cobalt refinery and a coal-fired power plant. It will also invest in local communities in areas such as education, health, sport, poverty eradication, among others.
