The UAE-based Rainbow Hospitality group is planning to spread its operations in Kerala.
The group which runs several restaurants in Dubai and Sharjah and has strong presence in the food catering business has begun services in the state starting from Kochi. They have set up a Rs 6 crore centralised kitchen at Njarrakal in Kochi which can make 10,000 dishes daily for catering,’’ John Manjooran, CEO of the group said. The group will also open outlets selling its branded food products like biriyani and meat dishes. The first two will open in Kochi. In future it has plans to start a restaurant in Kochi.
