Tata Housing Development Co will invest around Rs 500 crore to build its first wellness-themed residential project in Mumbai’s Thane area.
The company has announced partnership with US Green Building Council (USGBC) to build eco-friendly houses for the project. The residential spaces will be built in accordance with LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, a global green building tool which measures and certifies building features that impact health and wellbeing. Called ‘Serein’, Tata Housing’s Thane project will be spread across one million sq ft and will have four towers with 740 flats. It will comprise two-, three- and four- BHK flats with sizes ranging from 696 sq ft to 900 sq ft.
