Sekhani Group to invest Rs. 150 cr for making sanitary napkins - Feedback

Sekhani Group has announced to invest Rs. 150 crore for setting up a manufacturing facility at Sanand in Ahmedabad district to make sanitary napkins under the brand name “Wonder Wings”. The facility is expected to create more than 1,000 jobs. Announcing its diversification plan, the company said that it has acquired 1 lakh square metre of land.

The facility will have two fully automatic servo machines to produce 12 lakh pieces of sanitary napkins per day, Prakash Sekhani, Managing Director, said. “We intend to invest and add more facilities in a phased manner with an investment of Rs. 500 crores,” he said, adding his company’s target is to make 800 million sanitary napkins annually.
