State-run Power Grid Corporation of India plans to invest Rs 1 lakh crore over the next four years, Chairman I S Jha has said.
Jha said the company had orders worth Rs 146,000 crore as on September 16. It has ongoing projects worth Rs 116,000 crore while its expenditure stood at Rs 46,000 crore. The balance capital expenditure (capex) required over the next four years is Rs 1 lakh crore. Jha said he is expecting a good return on revenue this year. The return on net worth till the second quarter of the year was over 7%.
