NBFC retail credit to grow 18 per cent this fiscal - Feedback

The retail credit of Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) is expected to grow 16-18 per cent in the current fiscal on the back of rising demand in the new commercial vehicle segment and also given the general pick-up in business environment, says a report.

The retail credit had witnessed a growth of 14.5 per cent in the previous financial year. According to domestic credit rating agency, ICRA, the tractor segment could witness a dampening of growth as lenders remain cautious in light of the weak rainfalls over the past three crop cycles.
