India, Israel institutions ink pact for education, training – Feedback

As a major step aimed at enhancing education and training between India and Israel, several partnerships were inked between leading academic institutions of the two countries.

Reuven Rivlin, President of Israel, has been touring India since November 14. The state visit by an Israeli President is the first in nearly 20 years, taking place in reciprocity to the October 2015 visit by President Pranab Mukherjee, and symbolises the growing partnership between India and Israel. On Friday, the visiting Israeli President and Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister for Human Resource Development, pledged cooperation in several areas. Two Israeli Universities, Hafia University of Israel and IDC Herzliya, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Welingkar Institute of Management (WeSchool). In a major step aimed at enhancing education and training in cybersecurity, SP Jain School of High Technology signed a MoU with IDC Herzliya, Israel.
