Fairwood Group partners six Chinese companies, eyes $ 20 billion infra business - Feedback

Banking on government’s ambitious plan to develop 100 smart cities, Fairwood Group has tied up with leading Chinese companies to tap the business potential in infrastructure and is eyeing projects worth USD 20 billion in the next eight years.

The Group that provides services to the infrastructure sector has partnered six Chinese companies namely Shanghai Tongji Urban Planning & Design Institute, Shanghai Maglev, China Rail Construction Corporation, China Harbour Engineering Company, China Communication Construction Company, and Beijing Origin Water Company. “These companies are specialised in urban planning, engineering, railway, construction, communications and water management and will add to our strength of planning and execution of infrastructure projects. We are eyeing a business share of USD 20 billion in infrastructure and urbanisation in India in next 8 years,” Fairwood Group’s Managing Director RS Das said.
