EIL signs pact with IOC for implementation of BS-VI norms – Feedback

Engineers India Ltd (EIL), a public sector undertaking under the oil ministry, today announced it has signed a pact with Indian Oil Corp (IOC), the nation’s largest fuel retailer, for providing Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management (EPCM) services.

The services will be used for implementing BS-VI quality upgradation program at six of its refineries located at Panipat, Mathura, Gujarat, Haldia, Bongaigaon and Digboi. “EIL has recently conducted configuration study for the facilities required to make them BS-VI compliant,” the firm said in a statement. It added the quality upgradation program will help IOC meet the government-mandated target of implementing BS-VI fuel norms across the country beginning April 2020. Apart from EPCM services, EIL will also provide project design and quality assurance services.
