Centre goes for Rs. 852-cr highway project - Feedback

In order to build top class road network in the border belt of Jharkhand and Bihar, the Union government has cleared Rs. 852-cr to cover the present road between Ranchi—Bero on NH-23 and Ranchi—Bijupara on NH-75 to four lanes.

The road project between Hazaribag and Barhi would be allotted by the NHAI very shortly and that it is also in the process of starting construction work on the four-laning of road between Mahulia and Bahragora on NH-33. Though the central agency claimed progress in the matter of construction of four lanes between Ranchi and Jamshedpur on NH-33 and that the nodal agency is currently initiating process of land acquisition for six laning of road between Govindpur, Dhanbad, and Chas in Bokaro and yet another road connecting Aurangabad in Bihar with Barwadda in Jharkhand. Once the process of land acquisition starts, the Centre assured to issue work order for both the construction projects, said.
