C&C Construction secures Rs.1,600 crore Mizoram-Myanmar NH project – Feedback

India has finally awarded the Mizoram-Myanmar 109-km long Kaladan road project to a Delhi-based C&C Construction Company at an investment of Rs.1,600 crore.

Mega venture is a multi-modal transport project in Myanmar that will offer connectivity to Mizoram in India as Kaladan is the first major project taken up by India in the bordering country. The road aimed at connecting Paletwa river terminal to Zorinpui in Mizoram border and the construction work is all set to start very shortly. It may be recalled that India completed the construction of Sittwe port, at the estuary of Kaladan river in trouble-prone Rakhine state of Myanmar last year.
