The philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprises, Bharti Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of School Education, Government of Telangana where it would be supporting 15 Government schools under its Satya Bharti Quality Support Program.
The Foundation would be working towards holistic improvement of school quality where it would identify key areas of improvement and devise action plans in accordance with their vision for the schools, the company said in a statement Tuesday. It will also act as a facilitator and support respective Principals in prioritising areas of improvement. In addition, it will provide an academic mentor to support the school Principals. “Over the past three years, our experience of working with Government School Principals, teachers and education officers in five states has been very energising. It is their ideas and participation that has led to the success of this program. We look forward to working along with the very supportive team of officials and educationists in Telangana,” said Vijay Chadda, CEO, Bharti Foundation.
