Three underground sewerage projects worth Rs 1,128.32 crore in Andhra Pradesh are expected to be completed by 2018.The Public Health & Municipal Engineering Dept, Andhra Pradesh, awarded three underground sewerage scheme projects to contractors in 2016.

Shapoorji Pallonji was awarded a contract worth Rs 777.04 crore for implementation of an underground sewerage scheme with a capacity of 37 MLD in Guntur.Maruti Construction, Vishakhapatnam, was awarded a contract for development of an RCC major drain from Innispeta to STP for Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation in East Godavari district, under Pushkaram Grant Works. The estimated value of this project is Rs 6.10 crore.
