India is in the midst of a most ambitious Renewable Energy target implementation phase and is aiming to add 175GW of RE power over the next decade with 100GW in Solar, 60 GW in Wind and the rest in Biomass & other Renewables.
In Renewable Energy, Feedback Consulting has worked across various Renewable Energy sources such as Solar, Wind, Biomass, Municipal Solid Waste, Small Hydro Power, Industrial Waste Heat and others.
Feedback has been working with various stakeholders in this industry over the past 10-12 years, leading to investments on the ground and is ideally placed to help all stakeholders in the RE space in India and the Region.

Feedback worked with a Green Energy firm interested in investing in Biomass plants in India, to identify possible investment options. Feedback undertook the complete Biomass Assessment of a state and identified key regions where Biomass Plants could be set up based on an evaluation of power requirement, current availability, biomass availability, requisite infrastructure, cost of generation, payback, etc. Further, Feedback also studied the business environment in these regions to check on how conducive it was to new investments.
We worked with an International Aid Agency along with a European Consulting firm to set up a Renewable Energy Fund. We focused on the Off-grid RE market and set out the various business models currently existing, the type of business models to be funded and how this Fund should be set up in India.
Feedback worked with a major SHP Equipment supplier and studied the complete business of Small Hydro Power business in India. We understood the potential in various states, the key SHP policy dynamics in each state and prioritised the market for our client.
Feedback has helped a Global technology leader in assessing the Microgrids potential (current and future) in India with a focus on integrating Renewable power with conventional power sources and providing an integrated solution, which would be viable as well as feasible.
Feedback worked on a white paper for a Wind turbine manufacturers association to present a case for better wind tariffs to the AP Government. Feedback did a quick scan of tariffs & policies of different state governments, spoke to key industry leaders, Policy makers and entrepreneurs / firms investing in Wind Power and came up with a paper highlighting the shortcomings in AP visa vis other states. This was then taken up with the State Government to change their policies towards Wind Energy.
