Parksons Packaging, a Mumbai-based manufacturer and exporter of printed and laminated folding cartons, is setting up a manufacturing base at Sri City with an outlay of Rs. 70 crore.
Laying the foundation stone, Ramesh Kejriwal, Chairman, said: “We are foraying into the Southern region by setting up a unit at Sri City which has been selected because of its strategic location, infrastructure and excellent service to entrepreneurs. Soon, we expect to start our journey in the South.” The plant, to be built on a 10-acre plot with an initial outlay of Rs. 70 crore, will focus on producing and processing folding cartons. The facility is expected to be commissioned by October. It will provide jobs to about 300 people.
