Diagnostic tests that are non-invasive and affordable to monitor diabetes will soon be manufactured near Hyderabad by DiabetOmics, a global medical diagnostics firm.
The company launched construction work on a new facility with an investment of $4 million at Muppireddipalli on the outskirts of the city. The State Minister for Industries, Jupally Krishna Rao, laid the foundation on Saturday. The manufacturing unit will come up on a 12,300 sq.mt. plot. It will have a built up area of 2,700 sq,mt. and will become commercial by the end of 2017.
