Tata Advanced Material Ltd (TAML), a subsidiary of Tata Industries Ltd, has inked a 10-year pact with FACC Operation GmbH, Austria for the supply of Rolls-Royce engine components. As part of the agreement, TAML would supply parts that will go into production engines such as the Trent 1000, and the Trent XWB, the company said in a statement.
The pact also renews TAML’s existing contract to provide cutting-edge engine components. “Our association with FACC began in 2009 for manufacture and supply of composite engine components for Rolls-Royce engines. “We are confident that the business relationship between the two organisations will continue to flourish and make a significant contribution to composite aerospace manufacturing in India,” TAML Chief Executive Officer Sudhi Ranjan Mukherjee said.
