SIPB approves Rs 26,630 crore investment in AP – Feedback

The State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) has approved the proposals of four mega industries which intend to invest Rs 26,630 crore in new units.

The companies that made the proposals for the investments are 1) Essel GCL consortium which will set up a solar manufacturing factory in Chittoor with an investment of around Rs 21,300 crore. 2) Reliance Defence and Engineering which will set up a shipbuilding unit in Visakhapatnam district with an investment of Rs 5,000 crore.3) Dixon Technologies India which will make an investment of Rs 150 crore for setting up a plant in Chittoor district.4) Gokaldas Exports which will make an investment of Rs 180 crore to set up a garment factory at Anantapur district.The industries are expected to generate around 53,100 new jobs.The industries are expected to generate around 53,100 new jobs.
