Lubrizol Corporation to start its first CPVC plant in India – Feedback

US-based chemical giant Lubrizol Corporation will start its Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) compounding material plant at Dahej in Bharuch district of Gujarat tomorrow.

“The plant, having a capacity to produce 55,000 metric tonnes of CPVC material annually, has been built with an investment of Rs 325 crore and will start production from tomorrow after an opening ceremony there,” President of Lubrizol Advanced Materials, Eric Schnur, told reporters here today. According to Schnur, this will be the company’s first ever CPVC plant in India. Construction work for the plant began in April, 2014 and it has been completed in two years’ time.
