EESL to approach more states for pan-India roll-out of electric vehicles – Feedback

Energy Efficiency Services (EESL) is looking forward to approaching more states and making a pan-India roll-out of 9,500 electric vehicles in 2018.

EESL floated a tender for procuring 10,000 electric cars in August 2017. A total of 500 electric vehicles are to be delivered in Phase-I, while the remaining vehicles are to be delivered in Phase-II of the tender. First batch of 500 electric sedans is ready to be delivered to the central government in Delhi by around 15 January 2018, and the supporting charging infrastructure is in place.
