Dubai-based Aster DM Healthcare plans to invest around Rs 600 crore over the next three years in various Kerala-based projects including a new 500 bed super-speciality hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.
The company currently operates a total of 16 hospitals, over 85 clinics and 200 pharmacies in the Middle-East and India. “Looking at the investor-friendly attitude of the government (in Kerala), we are pleased to announce multiple investments of around 600 crore in Kerala in various projects in 3 years,” Aster DM Healthcare Chairman & MD Azad Moopen said today. The super-speciality hospital will be a greenfield project in the state capital, Thiruvananthapuram, he added. The group had announced two new projects, a 250 bed multi-specialty hospital in Kannur and a 300 bed super-specialty hospital in Kozhikode last month.
