The land for the electronics park project in Amballoor, Kerala, which will attract an investment of Rs 1,000 crore has been acquired.

The Electronics Park is coming up on 100 acre on the banks of Konoth river at Amballoor, Mulanthuruthy and Manakkunnam villages. The state government has sanctioned Rs 2,650 crore for the entire project. The cost of infrastructure development alone will come to Rs 600 crore. Infrastructure development for the project will be completed in two years. The project has got clearance under the Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act. Initial procedures have been started to get clearance from the Union Ministry of Environment and Forest.
