Digital imaging company Canon India today said it has stepped into the surveillance domain with a new range of intelligent network cameras. The company expects 5 per cent of its India business to come from this category in the next two years. “Canon is entering the surveillance market at the right time with the need for intelligent cameras and analytics growing and evolving at a fast pace,” President and Chief Executive Canon India, Kazutada Kobayashi said.

“We are expecting the network video surveillance range to contribute 5 per cent of the total business of Canon India in the next 2 years,” he added.
